My
interest in photographic art came about as a by-product of my
job as a web designer using my photography as content for clients.
I
have developed, what is considered by many people, a unique
style using saturated colour and heavy contrast technique
of HDR.
HDR done badly is awfull - HDR done correctly is superb! This
special technique plus a variety of other processing and production
methods I use go together to create what is regarded as a
superb method with which to draw out the true feel and ambience
of a scene.
Many
of my photos are taken around the beautiful North Devon countryside
including Exmoor and Dartmoor, I also like to photograph boats
and wrecks so I often venture to the local beaches at Saunton,
Braunton, Westward Ho! and Instow. I travel to Northern France
regularly where local art galleries have asked for commissions
of particular scenes in their areas, and I now sell in galleries
in Brittany. I like to think that each image I produce exudes
atmosphere, mood, ambience and uniqueness.
I am now achieving respect and admiration from all over the
country and I'm currently in negotiation with galleries in
London, Bristol, Glasgow and the South West to exhibit my
works. Since February of 2011 I've also been exhibiting in
Brittany, France, this I am very proud of!
